Pac Heights Disturbed by Gunfire

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (KCBS/BCN)- Two men were injured when a dispute ended in gunfire in San Francisco's Pacific Heights neighborhood.

Police are now trying to determine what led up to the early Sunday morning shooting.

Officers found the two victims at Van Ness Avenue and Sacramento Street at about 1:50 a.m. Sunday morning.

The victims apparently tried to break up a physical altercation between groups of women. Shortly after, another man fired a gun, striking both victims according to San Francisco police officer Albie Esparza.

Both victims were transported to San Francisco General Hospital and are expected to survive.

The suspect fled in a white four-door Taurus, according to Esparza.

At this point, there's no word of any arrests.
