Survey Gauges Raiders Support
OAKLAND, Calif. (KCBS)- The government board that oversees Oakland's Coliseum is backing a survey to determine if there's enough public support to build a new stadium for the Raiders.
The Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum Authority wants to find out how much the public, and specifically Raiders fans, are willing to pay to finance a new stadium.
The survey tackles the issue of "personal seat licenses", or as they're called in the survey, one-time equity membership fees.
That for more expensive seats could be in the thousands of dollars.

Oakland City Council member and Coliseum Authority vice chair Ignacio De La Fuente says the original PSL's that were levied when the Raiders returned to Oakland in 1995 were a learning experience.
"That's one of the things that was more painful for us and for everyone" said De La Fuente
De La Fuente says local government now controls an additional 20 acres near the Coliseum. He says the site with It's proximity to BART and two major interstates is the perfect spot for a new master development.
"We're going to keep moving forward in discussions with the Raiders," said De La Fuente.
The survey comes less than a month after voters in Santa Clara approved a plan to build a new stadium in for the 49'ers in their city.
