Diamond Heights Shooting Victim Expected to Survive

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (KCBS)- A 21-year-old woman who was hospitalized Tuesday afternoon after being shot several times in San Francisco’s Diamond Heights neighborhood is expected to survive.

San Francisco police say the victim was walking on Diamond Heights Boulevard when a green four-door Lexus with three people inside pulled up beside her.

A police spokesman says a man got out of the back seat and shot her several times.

The vehicle was later recovered nearby, but the suspects have not been found.

Police say they believe the victim knows one of the suspects.
