The Port of San Francisco has evicted a night club in the city’s Mission Bay neighborhood.
Port officials this week sent the operators of the Jelly’s Dance Club at Pier 50 a 30-day notice, terminating their lease. The move comes more than a week after a fatal shooting outside the club.
Port representatives and police say the night club had been problematic for sometime.
The San Francisco Entertainment Commission had suspended Jelly’s permit for a week. The commission plans to consider a more permanent permit suspension next week.
