Two arrests have been made in connection with the killing last week of a Virginia man outside of a dentist’s office in Oakland.
Jinghong Kang was fatally shot late on Sunday night, the 18th of July, after getting his teeth cleaned for a job interview the following day.
Police later released a security videotape showing two people, a man and a woman, suspected in the killing. Someone called police to say they recognized one of those people and last Saturday, Althea Housley, of Oakland, was arrested. Monday, George Huggins, also an Oakland resident, was taken into custody.
Police say the woman, Housley, has admitted to taking part in the robbery and murder.
