"This means so much to us to help out the hospital and all the children that don't have what everyone else has," said McClurg.
Medical Center volunteer coordinator Glynis Correira says the donated items will go to the neediest kids in San Mateo County.
"They have much bigger hearts than their bikes and their bodies. They're just an awesome group; they've supported us for 20 years and I couldn't say enough about them," said Correira.
The items will be distributed through area medical clinics and at least one homeless shelter.
