Davis points out that in these budget conscious times there will be challenges.
"Let people challenge us on why we do what we do. Be willing to look inward and find out there's another way to do it. Don't compromise what we do in terms of our efficiency, effectiveness, and our professionalism," says Davis.
Davis concluded his speech by saying that, "If you're good, you'll be able to meet any challenge that is thrown at this department because of economics or because of anything else going on in the community".
