Exotic Erotic Ball Moving to Richmond

RICHMOND, Calif. (KCBS)_ The Bay Area's largest annual adult-themed Halloween party is moving to Richmond after years at the Cow Palace. The Craneway Pavilion that once housed tank manufacturing during World War II will now host the Exotic Erotic Ball.

The modernistic waterfront facility with 40,000 windows will host the 31st annual edition of the ball on October 23rd.

Publicist Christopher Buttner expects many of the14,000 attendees to be scantily clad.

"It just goes more to the theme of the Exotic Erotic Ball which is sexy, beautiful, fun, and happy. Compared to a facility named after bovines," says Buttner.

He added that the ball consistently sells out every single hotel that they've partnered with.

As much as $2 million in tourism revenue, he claims. The bawdy bash falls on a full moon this year and includes a floating VIP area.

"It just makes sense to go into this huge, beautiful, stunning, ultra-chic, industrial, modernistic room," says Buttner.

Tickets to the event are $69.
