Power Restored in Vallejo

VALLEJO, Calif. (KCBS)_ Just over 1,000 customers lost power Tuesday morning in Vallejo.

According to the Vallejo Fire Department, the area impacted was bounded by Curtola Parkway, Sonoma Boulevard, Enterprise Street, and Wilson Avenue.

The cause of the outage is still under investigation.

PG&E said power was restored shortly after 4 p.m.

Due to the high heat, the city has opened a cooling center at the Vallejo Senior Center at 333 Amador Street.
