Charities have seen an outpouring of generosity since the San Bruno explosion and fire that killed at least six people and damaged dozens of homes. KCBS reporter Bob Melrose says authorities are warning would-be donors to make sure they know exactly whom they’re making the check out to, since scam artists often turn disaster into opportunity.
