3 Brothers, 4th Suspect Arraigned In San Francisco Robbery Spree

SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) - Four Hayward men, three of them brothers identified by distinctive ponytails, appeared in court Wednesday morning in connection with a series of armed street robberies in San Francisco last week.

The brothers, Edgar Rodriguez, 29, Eduardo Rodriguez, 28 and Jose Rodriguez, 22, were arrested by San Francisco police in the Mission District on Sunday. The fourth man arrested is Deandre Ware, 26.

All four were arraigned Wednesday morning in San Francisco Superior Court in connection with five armed robberies and one attempted robbery overnight on Sept. 23 and Sept. 24.

Victims gave police a description of the robbers' van, and police stopped a van that matched that description on Sunday. Stolen property and a gun were found inside, police said.

Police said the men were also being investigated in connection with other similar robberies in San Francisco and Oakland.
