SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) – A public-private partnership to strengthen business ties between San Francisco and China has added a second office in China, San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom’s office announced Friday.

With offices already in San Francisco and Shanghai, the program, ChinaSF, added an office in Beijing, the mayor’s office said.

“ChinaSF’s business presence in Beijing will truly leverage China’s growing market and innovation for San Francisco’s economy,” Newsom said in a statement.

ChinaSF is an economic development initiative begun by the city of San Francisco and the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce, according to the group’s website.

The group helped expand 10 Chinese companies to San Francisco between 2008 and 2010, the mayor’s office said.

The Beijing office is being supported by the Hina Group, a China-based investment banking and private equity firm, according to the mayor’s office.

Thats great.. so while China does everything in its power to make sure its people dont buy US exports (i.e. pinning their currency to the US dollars and making it nearly impossible for foreign companies “i.e. banks” to do business in China, we decide to help 10 companies come to SF between 2008 and 2010. I guess its just not fashionable & stylish enough from a liberal media perspective to write a story where US politicians help US companies in a downed economy. Great Job Gavin & team. Boy you are guys are pure genius’

Once again Gavin is promoting outside the city. Hey Gavin! We want to promote AMERICAN business in AMERICA! China is already going to own us due to the liberal “bail out” and “stimulus” schemes. America Gavin, that is where your loyalties should be not with China. IMPEACH NOW! Newsome is not fit to be a mayor or anything other than a cheating drunk!
