Narsai David Wine Review: A Sweet Red Wine

KCBS Food and Wine Editor Narsai David reviews a 2009 Sweet Malbec from Yorkville Cellars.

Unusual indeed... a sweet red wine.  Very appealing, ripe grape aromas that actually hint at sweet fruit.  And on the palate, a perfect balance of a slightly sweet flavor with just enough body and tannin to make this a table wine, and not a dessert wine.  Try it with spicy food or with a sweet and sour dish like stuffed cabbage leaves.  All of their wines are from certified organic grapes.

Plus, Yorkville Cellars' classic 2006 Noble Bordeaux Varietals (Malbec, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Carmenere) all grown in the same vineyard are all award-winning wines and now available as a gift box.
