Millbrae Rollover Crash Briefly Blocks All Lanes Of 101 North
MILLBRAE (BCN) - All lanes of northbound U.S. Highway 101 at East Millbrae Avenue in Millbrae have been re-opened following a crash involving three vehicles, a California Highway Patrol officer said.
About 2:15 a.m., a chain of crashes occurred after a sedan rolled over multiple times and landed in the fast lane. Two other vehicles subsequently crashed in the area, CHP Officer Ralph Caggiano said.
A Sig-alert was issued at 2:32 a.m. when all lanes of traffic were obstructed.
Two flatbed trucks were dispatched to clear the wreckage, and by 3:06 a.m. the alert was updated to reflect a partial re-opening of the roadway.
The alert was cancelled at 3:18 a.m., when all four lanes re-opened.
The extent of the injuries and conditions of those people involved was unknown as of 3:15 a.m.
