Man Attacked With Ice Pick During San Francisco Robbery

SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) - A man was robbed and attacked with an ice pick in San Francisco's Ingleside District early Tuesday morning, San Francisco police said.

The victim, a 29-year-old man, was approached by four males who began to physically assault him near Excelsior Avenue and Edinburgh Street at 2:45 a.m.

One suspect pushed the victim to the ground and another suspect pushed an ice pick against the victim's torso and took his wallet and cell phone, according to police.

The victim suffered scratches to his arm and a laceration to his torso but refused medical treatment.

No arrests have been made in connection with the robbery. The suspects are described as males between 17 and 20 years old.
