PLEASANTON (BCN) - Police are looking for three armed men who robbed employees and customers at a Denny's restaurant in Pleasanton on Wednesday night.

At 11:55 p.m., an employee at the restaurant, located at 6455 Owens Drive, notified police that an armed robbery had just occurred there.

The employee told police that three men had entered the business, pointed handguns at patrons and employees, and fled with cash.

The suspects were last seen running west on Owens Drive toward Johnson Drive. Police from Pleasanton and Dublin searched the area with the help of K-9 units and a California Highway Patrol helicopter but failed to locate the men, police said.
