The Scariest (And Free) Halloween Movies

Halloween is around the corner. You're prepared. You have the best costume. You have the greatest candy. But, do you have your Halloween horror movies locked down? Don't worry. Hulu is here to help.

From now until Halloween, Hulu is streaming the best and goriest fright flicks. The Radio.com team spent many sleepless, terror filled nights sorting through the films. From George Romero's groundbreaking 1968 film Night of the Living Dead to the classic Monkey Shines, here are the 10 Scariest (And Free) Movies To Watch On Halloween.

1. House on Haunted Hill

Vincent Price stars as a creepy millionaire who challenges five people to stay in his home overnight. If they can survive the evening in his haunted mansion, they will win $10,000. What would you do for $10,000?

2. Child's Play

This is by far the scariest Chucky movie of the Child's Play franchise. You'll never look at your doll collection the same way again.

3. Carnival Of Souls

You can't have a horror movie without a frightening soundtrack. The film's score is heavy with funeral/carnival organ music, making this 1962 classic a perfect for an eerie night.

4. Killer Klowns From Outer Space

This is pure B-movie gold! Released in the late '80s, this sci-fi/horror film features aliens disguised as clowns terrorizing a town.

5. Swamp Thing

While Wes Craven's Swamp Thing (1982) isn't a straight horror film, it does have some great seat-jumping moments. You can practically smell the swamp from through screen.

6. Monkey Shines

Written and directed by George A. Romero (Night of the Living Dead), Monkey Shines tells a story about a quadriplegic man and his trained monkey. His helper monkey proves less than helpful, when it because jealous of his ward and begins to plot against him.

7. Puppet Master

The first film in the Puppet Master franchise, this 1989 films tells the story of evil puppets who slaughter everyone after their puppet master is forced to kill himself . How is someone forced to kill themselves? Watch the movie and find out.

8. Night of the Living Dead

10. The Omen III: The Final Conflict

If you didn't see the first two installments of The Omen franchise, don't worry. It's easy to catch up. The franchise centers around the song of Satan, Damien Thorn. In the third installment Damien who seeks world domination. Chaos ensues.
