SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS) – A woman was found dead at her home in San Francisco’s Russian Hill neighborhood early Saturday morning. Police are treating the death as a homicide according to a police spokesman.
San Francisco police Sgt. Mike Andraychak said officers responded at about 4:25 a.m. to a request for a well-being check on a resident at a home in the 900 block of Chestnut Street.
Officers eventually entered the home to find the body of a woman inside. The woman’s identity has not yet been released.
He said the death is being treated as a homicide, and investigators are working to determine how the woman died.
No arrests have been made in connection with the homicide, and no suspect information is yet available.
