Man Stabbed In Big Fairfield Street Fight

FAIRFIELD (BCN) -- Fairfield police are investigating a fight that reportedly involved more than 20 people and hospitalized two local men Sunday morning, according to the Fairfield Police Department.

The fight erupted on the street outside a house party in the 1700 block of Kentucky Street around 12:30 a.m., police officials said.

One 28-year-old man was transported to Muir Medical Center for treatment of a stab wound to the head. A second man walked in to North Bay Medical Center for treatment of a laceration to his arm, according to police.

Both men were treated and released within several hours.
