Black Mercedes Sought In San Francisco Richmond District Killing
SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) - San Francisco police Thursday were investigating a fatal shooting in a Richmond District neighborhood Wednesday night, including reports by neighbors that a black Mercedes was seen speeding away from the crime scene.
The victim, a man who has not yet been identified by the medical examiner's office, was found dead inside an apartment in a four-unit building on 23rd Avenue near Anza Street at about 9 p.m., according to police.
Police said neighbors reported hearing gunshots and seeing the Mercedes speeding from the area.
No arrests have been made in the case.
