Police Hope Photo Helps Identify San Mateo Bank Robber

SAN MATEO (BCN) - Police are asking for the public's help in identifying and locating a man who held up a San Mateo bank on Tuesday.

A thin man in his 30s robbed the Chase Bank at 1730 S. El Camino Real at about 1:05 p.m. Tuesday then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Although police arrived at the bank within minutes, they weren't able to find the suspect.

The man, who is white and stands between 5 feet 6 inches and 6 feet tall, was last seen wearing thick black square-framed glasses, a dark Arizona Cardinals baseball cap, a plaid shirt, and a green jacket with white stripes on the sleeves.
