Man, Woman Found Dead In Saratoga Home Identified
SARATOGA (CBS/AP) -- Authorities have identified the bodies of a married couple found shot to death in their Northern California home.
Santa Clara County sheriff's Sgt. Rick Sung told the San Jose Mercury News the victims were 66-year-old Frederick Luminoso, a real estate broker, and his 68-year-old wife, Mary, a social worker.
Sung wouldn't confirm whether the killings were murder or suicide, saying only that there was no threat to public safety.
Deputies discovered the bodies of the couple in their Saratoga home on Sunday afternoon.
Sung says a concerned relative telephoned authorities just before 1 p.m. Sunday asking deputies to make a welfare check on the Luminosos.
