KCBS In Depth: New Technology

Tablets are the hottest topic in the tech world.

KCBS Technology Analyst Larry Magid was at the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas this past week checking out what to expect in 2011.

He said tablet PCs dominated the show floor this year with everyone trying to compete with Apple’s ever popular iPad.

And even though Apple was not present at CES, Magid said they still had a huge influence, as many companies are looking at the success of the iPad and iPhone.

Some of the other main technologies on display included 3D TV, the connectivity of appliances and mobile phones.
