Sit-In Held For WikiLeaks Private Outside Feinstein’s SF Home

SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) — Activists held a sit-in Sunday outside the San Francisco home of U.S. Sen. Dianne Feinstein to protest the treatment of a man being charged with disclosing classified information to the website WikiLeaks—and the group planned to hold a rally and news conference on the Golden Gate Bridge at noon.

KCBS’ Chris Filippi Reports:

Members of the grassroots peace and social justice movement organization CODEPINK were stationed outside Feinstein’s Lyon Street home at 9:30 a.m. to protest the “inhumane” treatment of Pfc. Bradley Manning, according to a CODEPINK release.

Manning is being held at the Marine Corps base at Quantico, Va.

CODEPINK also plans to address the continued operation of the Guantanamo Bay detention facility.

They should court martial him. Better yet turn him loose on the base and see what his brothers do to him

Disgusting! He is in prision for good reason! it is not a Hotel! This group of terrorist groupies is just trying to attack Dianne Feinstein, who has nothing to do with this alledged nonsense! Actually to harrass a public official at their home, is considered harrassment! and they should be removed, or arrested! The writer should have NEVER listed her home address! especially after what happened to the woman in Arizona, who was shot in the head!

This is still America. 58,000 dead in Vietnam, for no reason whatsoever. Now we have placed a lowly private in solitary confinement in order to induce him to implicate Mr. Assange so that conspiracy charges can be made against him. Of course since we now arrest, confine and torture citizens from other countries without charging them or giving them trials these actions by our government seem commonplace. I REPEAT HE HAS NOT BEEN CHARGED YET THERE ARE THOSE OF YOU WHO WISH HIM HARM WITHOUT PROOF. Only in America?

“YES, wikileaks IS a TERRORIST group and has admitted that their goal is to help muslims murder all non-muslims on the planet. ”

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA would you mind showing me who at wikileaks said that??? or was it your friend, or something you heard on tv or the radio. No one at wikileaks would ever say anything like that, and that you would believe it only expresses how truly ignorant you are.

eWe should sent this group to sit in with the Taliban in Pakistan border.
They seems to have the same goal: Bring down the government.

A bunch of people that think they know what’s going on but either really have no clue or are just straight evil, sit around in a room and make decisions that end up with us fighting a war in Iraq for no other reason that spending trillions of dollars, the type of decisions that make thousands of people across the middle east willing blow themselves up just to show us they will never stop fighting imperialism. Maybe if we knew exactly who said what before hand, we would not have allowed ourselves to get in these messes. Treason or not, the man is a hero; just like Daniel Ellsberg. I suppose you all think the Pentagon Papers should never have been released either hunh?
