Narsai David Wine Review: Dutton Goldfield
(KCBS) - KCBS Food and Wine Editor Narsai David samples a 2008 Syrah from the Russian River Valley.

This syrah really comes together so perfectly. It has a deep rich red color and a concentrated richness of cherries and spice with a pleasing woodiness. It's lush on the palate, with a splendid balance of rich fruit and soft tannins. Here's a wine that can be consumed now with rich grilled meats, pasta with meat sauces etc etc. I just enjoyed a glassful, but you ought to age some for a few years. Fine price at $35.00.
