Former 49ers WR Otis Amey Joins SaberCats
SAN JOSE (CBS / AP) -– The San Jose SaberCats have announced the additions of former San Francisco 49ers receiver Otis Amey, along with defensive lineman George Hypolite, quarterback Kevin Lopina, wide receiver Ed Berry, offensive lineman Kristien Poindexter, linebacker Tyrell Graham and linebacker Mario Reese.
Per team policy, terms were not disclosed. The roster now stands at 33 players.
"I'm excited to see the roster taking form with 33 players now on roster," SaberCats owner and head coach Darren Arbet said. "Otis was one of the most explosive playmakers in the league in 2008 and the additions that we made on both sides of the ball today are going to give us great depth this upcoming season."
