Midfielder Tony Donatelli Signs With Earthquakes

SAN JOSE (AP) ― Midfielder Tony Donatelli has signed with Major League Soccer's San Jose Earthquakes.

The 26-year-old had seven goals last season with the minor league Montreal Impact.

After playing college soccer at Temple, he has been with Ocean City (2004-05), Vancouver (2006-08) and also played indoor soccer for Philadelphia (2006-8). He had three goals for Montreal in the 2008-09 CONCACAF Champions League.

San Jose has lost several attacking players, including Arturo Alvarez, Eduardo, Geovanni and Cornell Glen.
