Fire Crews Respond To Leak At Conoco Phillips Refinery In Rodeo

RODEO (BCN) -- Firefighters responded to a leak at an oil refinery in Rodeo Sunday afternoon, a dispatcher said.

Crews went to ConocoPhillips Co. refinery on 1380 San Pablo Avenue about 2:30 p.m. to monitor a leak reported by the company, according to a dispatcher at the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District.

The dispatcher could not specify what substance the refinery was leaking.

Two fire engines and a battalion chief were sent to the scene, and firefighters were still at the refinery as of 4 p.m.

No injuries were reported.

A spokesperson from the refinery was not immediately available.
