Narsai David Product Review: Wheat Valley Bakery Flat Breads

(KCBS) - KCBS Food and Wine Editor Narsai David tried some new breads from Wheat Valley Bakery. They're doing all kinds of Middle East breads. They started with lavash (those flat breads that are like round discs) and now they've added something called Eastern Barbari bread.

Lavash / White and Whole Wheat
2 sizes: 11x16, 8x10
The lavash wrap is rectangular, not round, and is great for rolls, burritos, and Aram sandwiches. No wasted edges like round lavash.

The Eastern Barbari Bread is long, almost oval and 1/2" thick with deep grooves. The Afghani Noor is a little thicker. Gata is a round loaf that's very slightly sweet with a bit of vanilla. And their Sweet Bread has sesame seeds and is very subtly sweet. For the best crackers just toast it slowly in the oven at 250 degrees for about 20-25 minutes.
