(KCBS) – Verizon began taking pre-orders for Apple’s iPhone on Thursday.
CNET Editor at Large Brian Cooley tested out Verizon’s version, comparing it to its AT&T counterpart in San Francisco.
He said they tested both versions at four or five locations in the city, testing all types of functions on the smart phones.
Cooley said Verizon’s version tended to be a little faster than the AT&T model.
You can hear his Tech Watch report Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1:50 P.M. on KCBS All News 740AM and 106.9FM.
