Pinole Valley High Student Arrested For Making Threats

PINOLE (BCN) -- An 18-year-old Pinole Valley High School student was arrested in class Friday after making criminal threats to another student, police said.

Arriving at the high school about 12:55 p.m., police arrested the student without incident.

Police said they learned during their investigation that the suspect confessed to wanting to kill the victim because of bullying during the school year.

The man was booked in Contra Costa County Jail for making criminal threats, police said.
