Private Jet Makes Emergency Landing At Oakland Airport

OAKLAND (BCN) - A private jet made an emergency landing at Oakland International Airport Thursday morning, an airport spokeswoman said.

Two pilots aboard a Dassault Falcon 900 jet requested the emergency landing at about 8 a.m. after experiencing problems with the jet's hydraulic pressure, Oakland airport spokeswoman Rosemary Barnes said.

Oakland Fire Department units responded to the airport as a precaution at 8:04 a.m.

The jet landed safely and taxied off the runway on its own power, Barnes said.

There were no injuries, and all four passengers on board deplaned safely, Barnes said.

The runways were cleared at 8:11 a.m. and the emergency did not cause any significant delays to other air traffic.
