SAN FRANCISCO (CBS 5 / BCN) — Rain was expected to cover the San Francisco Bay Area Sunday, accompanied by highs in the upper 50s and south winds from 5 to 20 mph.

Mostly cloudy skies were anticipated to give way to showers in the evening, with lows in the mid 40s and varied winds of about 5 to 25 mph forecast as well.

On Monday, the Bay Area was forecast to be cloudy with a slight chance of rain. Highs will be in the upper 50s and northwest winds from 15 to 25 mph are also anticipated.

    Hello Roberta:

    We want to thank you for the heads-up on the Shuttle fly-over at 7:25; it came by right on schedule and was perfectly positioned to reflect the moonlight! We could even make out a faint trail as it went overhead.
