2.2 Earthquake Shakes Santa Clara County

SAN JOSE (CBS SF) - A 2.2-magnitude earthquake shook Santa Clara County early Wednesday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor rattled an area 5 miles northeast of the Alum Rock neighborhood of San Jose, and 9 miles northeast of San Jose City Hall at 1:25 a.m.

The quake had a depth of 4.5 miles, according to the USGS.
