San Mateo Teen Girl Reported Missing

SAN MATEO (BCN) -- Officers are on the lookout for a 16-year-old girl who went missing from a high school in San Mateo County just over a week ago, according to Foster City police.

Helena Montilla was seen leaving from Aragon High School in San Mateo at about 1 p.m. on Mar. 5, police said.

Montilla, who has a tattoo on her right hip, may have been leaving with an unidentified man, and they were potentially driving a stolen 2000 Acura Integra coupe with license plate number 4MAH184, police said.

The pair may still be in the San Francisco Bay Area, but authorities believe they could travel to Los Angeles.

Montilla is described as 5 feet and 1 inch tall, 100 pounds, brown hair, and black eyes, with a pierced nose, belly button, and pierced ears.

Anyone with information on Montilla's whereabouts is encouraged to contact Foster City police at (650) 286-3300.
