Oakland's Bishop O'Dowd Girls Beat Sacramento 57-46

SACRAMENTO (CBS/AP) -- Oderah Chidom had a double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds to lead Bishop O'Dowd of Oakland past Sacramento, 57-46, in the girls' Division III NorCal championship game Saturday at Power Balance Pavilion.

K.C. Waters added 10 points and 10 rebounds for O'Dowd (24-7) and Lariel Powell scored 17 points. Ariel Bostick had six assists in a third-quarter outburst that erased a five-point halftime deficit.

Bostick, Chidom and Waters are all sophomores.

Jasmine Ware led Sacramento (28-6) with 18 points and Fantasia Hilliard had 17.

Bishop O'Dowd will face St. Joseph of Santa Maria at 1 p.m.
Saturday at Power Balance Pavilion in the girls' Division III state
title game.
