Charlie Sheen May Return To 'Two And A Half Men'

LOS ANGELES (CBS) - Maybe Charlie Sheen really is winning after all. Oh maybe it's, "Duh, winning"?

The recently fired star of "Two and a Half Men," current tweeter and soon-to-be live tour star has been offered his job back by CBS, tweets NBC's Jeff Rossen, citing unnamed sources.

The tweet reads, "Sources close to Charlie Sheen tell NBC News, CBS has offered him his job back. Discussions ongoing. Not a done deal."

Rossen follows with a second tweet, "Per my sources: CBS is happy to have Charlie Sheen back on show...IF Warner Bros, Chuck Lorre, and Sheen can settle differences." Rossen has reported extensively on Sheen.

At about 3:21 p.m., Rossen sent a third tweet for clarification, noting that there are two companies involved. "CBS would be happy to take Charlie back, but he still needs to reach deal with WB," he writes.

CBS declined comment.

Since being fired from "Two and Half Men," Sheen has sued Chuck Lorre and Warner Bros. for $100 million, planned a live concert tour and talked to many, many news and television outlets.

Huffington Post reports Sheen will earn $1 million this year from Twitter endorsements and $7 million from the North American tour.

See Charlie Sheen perform 'Torpedo of Truth' as it hits San Francisco on April 30th at the Nob Hill Masonic Auditorium. For more information, visit CBS Local Events.

Watch "Two and a Half Men" on CBS 5 Mondays at 9:00pm PST.
