SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) — The latest round of storms set to hit the Bay Area have forced pop star Britney Spears to take her San Francisco album release concert indoors.

The city, particularly the Castro District, had gone into Britney Spears overdrive in anticipation of the pop superstar’s planned outdoor concert at the Castro Theatre on Sunday.

However, due to safety concerns, the show has been moved to an indoor venue, the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium.

The free, hour-long performance will air Tuesday on ABC’s Good Morning America to coincide with the release of Spears’ latest album, “Femme Fatale,” according.

Admission to the concert, which begins at noon, will be given on a first-come, first-served basis.

If the concert is held outside as planned, the audience area will open up at 9 a.m., according to ABC. Lining up won’t be permitted, and wristbands will not be handed out.

When did the Casatro Theatre become an outdoor venue? It was never going to be an outdoor concert. The fact is that the business community was furious over the disruption. The community was livid over the amount of police being used at tax payers exspense. The castro Theatre wasn’t going to see much more than a dime from her alleged visit. No charity was clearly named or how much. And the Gays are over her attempt to go back to their “well of support.”

Let the Tube & Tunnel trash destroy another venue. The last thing the area needed was another gay related shooting, bashing, looting, whatever.
