    Dear Brian,
You and your crew were at EJ Cattle and Feed outside of Livermore a couple of months ago filming a segment for your fantastic program, ‘Eye On The Bay!’ We thought we understood your staff to say that the segment would air on 11/8…did we miss it? We’d sure like to know if/when the segment will air as we’re excited about it and telling all our friends! Thanks againg for coming out…hope to hear from you soon! Ed

    Brian:
I enjoyed your segment about driving down Highway 92, but you stuck your foot in your mouth when you stated that you had never heard of Norton motorcycles. As the rider you interviewed noted, Norton was a venerable British manufacturer until 1975. Since the British firm closed its doors in the ’70s, a few other groups have tried to resuscitate the Norton bike. One firm in Portland, Oregon, was on its way to building a new Norton line, but ran out of funds before they could ship a bike just last year. Nevertheless, don’t count the Norton out – another entrepreneurial group will come along. There are still Norton bike lovers all over the world.
