Fatal Pedestrian Crash Closes I-280 In Daly City
DALY CITY (CBS SF) -- The California Highway Patrol reopened Interstate Highway 280 in Daly City Sunday morning following a fatal pedestrian crash.
The crash was reported at around 5:50 a.m. when a pedestrian was fatally struck in the southbound lanes of Highway 280 just north of San Pedro Road., CHP Officer Eric Anderson said.
The roadway was shut down until 8:15 a.m. while emergency officers responded.
The crash remains under investigation.
