Bystander Hurt In San Francisco Shootout

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Police arrested two suspects following a shooting early Sunday morning that injured a bystander in San Francisco's Mission neighborhood, authorities said.

The two suspects started shooting each other just before 2 a.m. at 16th and Alabama streets when a bullet struck the uninvolved bystander in the lower leg, police officials said.

The victim was taken to a local hospital to be treated for an injury that is not life threatening, according to police.
