At about 1:30 a.m., firefighters responded to 999 C St. on reports of smoke and fire coming from an apartment on the second floor.

Firefighters arrived at the scene and found flames burning the exterior of the building’s second story.

Four residents were evacuated from the building, but no injuries were reported.

Firefighters were able to contain the flames shortly after 2 a.m.
