Student Takeover Of CSU Sacramento Building Ends
SACRAMENTO (CBS/AP) -- Students at California State University, Sacramento protesting budget cuts and tuition increases have ended their occupation of a campus building.
University spokeswoman Kim Nava tells the Sacramento Bee the students left the campus around 3:30 a.m. Saturday.
They had been occupying the school's administration building since Wednesday as part of a statewide protest that included each of California State University's 23 campuses.
The protests were organized by the California Faculty Association, the union that represents professors.
Up to 50 students took part in the demonstrations at CSU Sacramento.
