San Leandro Parking Lot Shooting Leaves Oakland Man In Critical Condition

SAN LEANDRO (CBS SF) -- A 22-year-old Oakland man is in critical condition Sunday after a shooting in a San Leandro restaurant parking lot on Saturday night.

Officers responded to a reported shooting at Chili's restaurant at 15555 E. 14th Street at 10:55 p.m., San Leandro police said.

Arriving officers found a man who had been shot numerous times in the torso and legs, police said.

The victim was taken to a hospital where he was reported to be in critical condition Sunday afternoon.

A preliminary investigation revealed the victim had been at the restaurant with his girlfriend when the two had a confrontation with the woman's ex-boyfriend, police said. The suspect was later identified as 32-year-old Oakland man Tresyvaghn Moore.

Moore allegedly shot the victim in the parking lot and fled with the woman, police said.

Officers found the two at Moore's Oakland apartment near 78th Avenue and Lockwood Street, where they were taken into custody without further incident, police said.

It had not been determined if the woman was taken against her will when the two left the scene of the shooting, police said.

The case is still under investigation.
