Attacked Giants Fan Remains Under Heavy Sedation

LOS ANGELES (CBS / AP) — The San Francisco Giants fan who was severely beaten outside Dodger Stadium remains in a medically induced coma and under heavy sedation after suffering seizures over the weekend.

Bryan Stow’s cousin, John, told The Associated Press on Monday that doctors began to reduce his cousin’s medication on Thursday, but he began to suffer seizures on Friday.

He said doctors increased his cousin’s medication to prevent more seizures and he will be heavily sedated over the next 48 to 72 hours. He says doctors may know more by Friday.

Bryan Stow, a 42-year-old paramedic and father of two, was beaten in a parking lot after the March 31 season opener and remains hospitalized in Los Angeles. No arrests have been made.

I really hope that the police dept., FBI and SWAT team will not close this case until those two Dodger fans are brought to justice and tried in court. Search until you find them.

What a bunch of cowards! This man has a family and is a civil servant to his community. I really hope they find whoever did this …

We can speculate all we want, we were not there and did not see what action’s led to this tragic ending. Luckily for Him he has great science on his side and may he have a speedy recovery…GO DODGER’s…

      @leroy, you are an idiot…

Um…LeRoy is right. This guy doesn’t exactly look like an angel. The coma could be an unfortunate result of putting yourself in a hostile situation. Let the facts unfold.

    2. Joe Nokbakasake says:

A couple of cholos jumped him, thats what led to it!

  4. Mary says:

@LeRoy, you have got to be kidding me! “What actions led to this tragic ending”? Nobody deserves to be hit from behind slamming his head to the ground and having to have some of the front lobe of their brain taken out. Oh, that’s right….”we were not there and did not see what actions lead to this tragic ending”? You are soooo wrong.

  5. Concerned Citizen says:

    Dear Leroy Guzman,

No sports team fan loyalty is more important than respect for fellow human beings. I hope one day you come to realize this.

  6. William says:

Prayers being sent for Mr. Stow for his speedy recovery and for LeRoy Guzman, shame on you.

  7. Jon Lechich says:

May god speed his recovery and may the dead heads that did this to him suffer in hell!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  8. Rob C says:

Leroy…hopefully some day you get mistaken for a Giants fan and get beaten into a coma by your own ghetto, cholo, douchbag buddies. Then even though with your mentality it would be karma, I’d still pray for your family as your dumb ass laid in a hospital bed with little hope of recovery.
