DANVILLE (CBS SF) – A woman was robbed at knifepoint at an ATM in Danville on Saturday night, police said.

The victim was at an outdoor ATM at the Wells Fargo bank at 601 San Ramon Valley Blvd. at about 9:25 p.m. when two juveniles approached her.

The pair brandished knives, took the woman’s cell phone and demanded money, police said. The woman refused and ran toward a nearby Walgreens pharmacy yelling for help.

The two suspects then fled.

Officers used dogs to track them to an area behind Lunardi’s Market on the Iron Horse Trail, but were unable to locate them, police said.

The suspects were described as white juveniles wearing jeans and long-sleeve shirts, with their faces covered.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Detective Sgt. Allan Shields at (925) 314-3703.
