Rohnert Park Man Accused Of Lewd Acts In Front Of Girl

ROHNERT PARK (CBS SF) - Rohnert Park detectives have arrested a man on suspicion of exposing himself to girls as they walked to and from three elementary schools last month.

Andrew Christopher Riley, 36, of Rohnert Park, drove by eight girls between ages eight and 12 on six occasions between March 1 and 31, Department of Public Safety Sgt. Jeff Nicks said.

Riley would honk his car horn or wave to get the girls' attention, then expose himself to the girls who attended Waldo Rohnert, Monte Vista and John Reed elementary schools, Nicks said.

One of the girls pointed out to a parent one of the two cars that Riley was seen driving in, a Toyota Prius, Nicks said.

The parent took down the license plate and notified police.

Detectives then identified Riley as the suspect, Nicks said.

Riley was arrested Wednesday afternoon on six counts, each of indecent exposure and engaging in lewd acts in public, Nicks said.

Riley posted $25,000 bail and was released from Sonoma County Jail.

Nicks said that Riley has a previous criminal record, but not for lewd acts or indecent exposure.
