‘Angry Birds’ Fly To Southbay Hotel

MENLO PARK (CBS SF ) — A Menlo Park hotel and spa is sweetening its annual Easter Sunday celebration with the characters of the Angry Birds video game.

The scowling fowl will appear as large-scale pastry creations at the Rosewood Sand Hill’s holiday festivities, according to a spokesperson for the hotel.

Hotel pastry chef Emmanuel Fimbrez’s creations will be on display at the library for all to see.

The hotel will also offer an all-day menu for $68 per person ($34 for kids), a petting zoo and visits with the Easter Bunny.

An optional donation for the Palo Alto Humane Society will be asked for in exchange for admission to the petting zoo, which will feature ducks, chickens, dwarf goats, pot-bellied pigs, turkey, sheep and rabbits.
