Kitchen Fire Damages San Rafael Home
SAN RAFAEL (CBS SF) -- San Rafael fire officials are investigating the cause of a kitchen fire that damaged a home in an unincorporated area near the city Sunday morning.
Firefighters went to 31 Manzanita Ave. where fire was reported in the kitchen of a house about 10 a.m., according to the San Rafael Fire Department.
The fire was quickly controlled and no one was injured.
Investigators reported finding downed utility lines near the home that appeared to have fallen in the wind.
It has not been determined if the downed lines were related to the fire.
