NorCal Serial Killing Suspect Had Thousands Of Nude Photos

SAN RAFAEL (CBS) – An accused serial killer being held in Marin County possessed thousands of pictures of women in lifeless poses, and family members of his alleged victims said the news is an unsettling twist to the case.

Investigators found 4,000 photos of naked or scantily clad women who appeared to be unconscious or dead in the possession of 77-year-old Joseph Naso.

Naso is charged with killing Roxene Roggasch, 18, of Oakland, whose body was found on Jan. 10, 1977, on White’s Hill near Fairfax, and Carmen Colon, 22, who was found dead near Port Costa in Contra Costal County in 1978.

He also is accused of killing Pamela Parsons, 38, and Tracy Tofoya, whose bodies were found in 1993 and 1994, respectively, in Yuba County.

Naso is also being investigated in connection with a number of other cold case murders.

Naso worked as a photographer for decades and lived near Yuba City two decades ago.

Jack Eads, the brother of alleged victim Tracy Tafoya, said he hopes the investigation will eventually reveal the circumstances leading up to her death.

“Whether it was a photo session, or she knew him,” Eads said.

Police said they found detailed journals that contained Naso’s records of his fantasies, and authorities said they found female mannequins around his sparsely furnished home.

Darlene Cummins, who lived next to Naso at the time of Tafoya’s murder, said the new reports shed an unpleasant light on a bizarre request the suspect made to her at a garage sale.

“That’s when he said, ‘Do you have any women’s underwear or bras?’” Darlene said. “I got sick.”

Last week a judge granted Naso’s request to represent himself at trial.

Hang the SOB. He doesn’t deserve to live after what he did to those poor women. There ought to be a special punishment for POS’s that do things like that. How many women did he kill that nobody knows about. Chances are he has been killing for 60 years.

    Any available vigilaties out there?

???I wonder why I never get picked for Jury Duty???

possibly. Find him guilt and exacute him right away. This man should have extreme torture given to him.

Good that he’ll be reresenting himself. He’s sure to be convicted.

The ONLY real reason for a trial in his case is to provide details which families of his victims may want for ‘closure’.

Beyond that, I agree with the previous posts by others….the guy deserves to be hanged ASAP.
